Morocco
Morocco, located in North Africa and bordered by both the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, is a country rich in Berber, Arab, and European influences. Marrakeshs bustling medina, with its maze of souks and lively Djemaa el-Fna square, offers an unforgettable cultural experience. The capital, Rabat, is home to the 12th-century Kasbah of the Udayas, a historic fortress overlooking the Atlantic.
Currency
The currency of Morocco is the Moroccan Dirham (MAD). It is a closed currency, meaning it can only be obtained once you arrive in Morocco.
Additional Excursions
Our itineraries are carefully designed to include all essential excursions and points of interest to provide the best possible experience at an affordable price. Occasionally, your tour representative or local operator may offer additional optional excursions to enhance your stay. These are not included in the main tour cost.
Food
Breakfast is provided daily at the hotels and is usually served in a dedicated dining area. It is typically continental style, consisting of tea, coffee, bread, cereals, fruit, and yoghurt.
Passengers can choose between vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals. Jain or Halal options may not always be available. All meals are served as pre-set buffets, and individual menu choices are not offered.
Meals are served with tap water only.
Dinners are generally served at the hotel or at a nearby restaurant. If you have specific dietary concerns, please consult your tour representative before dining.

Hotels
Not all hotels on this tour are equipped with air-conditioning, so a small portable fan is recommended, especially during the summer months.
Please note that not all hotels provide kettles. If you require hot water for warming milk or similar, consider bringing a bottle warmer, travel kettle, and thermos flask. Passengers may also wish to carry a small travel iron or hairdryer, as these amenities may not be available in every room.
Any personal expenses such as minibar, phone, or pay-TV charges must be settled directly with the hotel at checkout. These are not included in your tour cost.
The maximum occupancy per room on this tour is three persons, excluding infants.
Other Advisories
General
You must carry your passport with you at all times while in Morocco, as identification may be required by local authorities.
Clothing
Before travelling, check the local weather forecast to pack appropriately. Morocco enjoys plenty of sunshine, so sun cream and a hat or head covering are essential. Out of respect for local customs, a head covering is also required when visiting mosques or religious sites.
Light, loose-fitting clothing such as cotton trousers, long skirts, and long-sleeved shirts is ideal. Avoid heavy fabrics like denim, which can be uncomfortable in the heat. A light scarf or wrap is also recommended, particularly for women, to provide both sun protection and modest coverage.
Pick Up and Drop Off Points & Times
You will meet your tour representative directly at the arrival terminal in Morocco. Arrival and departure point: Casablanca Airport.
Please follow all airline protocols regarding check-in, baggage, and boarding. Check airport information screens regularly for any updates, such as gate changes or delays.
Visas & Passport
British nationals do not require a visa for tourist visits to Morocco lasting up to 90 days. Ensure your passport is stamped on arrival, as missing entry stamps may cause difficulties when departing the country.
Weather
Morocco enjoys sunshine year-round. The northern and coastal areas have a Mediterranean climate with hot summers averaging around 30°C. Spring and autumn are warm and pleasant, while winters remain mild at around 20°C, though November to March brings some rainfall. In southern and desert regions, summer temperatures can be extreme, and winter nights can be surprisingly cold.
Wheelchairs
Lightweight manual wheelchairs can be accepted for travel, provided they can be stored in the vehicles luggage hold. A family member must accompany the passenger to assist during the tour.
We will request accessible rooms where possible, but this cannot be guaranteed. If you require a wheelchair at the airport or with the airline, please submit this request in writing at the time of booking. Final allocation is at the discretion of the airline or airport.
