Why Choose an Escorted Holiday to Italy?

Italy rewards the unhurried traveller. From the ancient streets of Rome to the rolling hills of Tuscany, the Venetian canals and the dramatic Amalfi Coast, there is more here than most visitors manage to see in a lifetime. An escorted group holiday takes care of every practical detail - transfers, hotels, the majority of meals - so you can simply arrive and absorb it.

Our tour managers are with you throughout. Many of our Italy departures include Indian meal options alongside local cuisine, and our groups regularly include travellers from across the UK, India and the US who find the shared experience of the journey as enjoyable as the destination itself.

Indian-Friendly Features on Our Italy Tours

Our Italy itineraries are designed with our Indian passengers firmly in mind:

  • Indian dinners included on most multi-day tours - typically three or more evenings
  • Vegetarian options available on request and confirmed in advance
  • Hindi and Gujarati-speaking representatives available on selected departures - ask when booking
  • Indian community pick-up points across the Midlands, London and the South East
  • No beef in included meals - menus are planned accordingly

Best Time to Visit Italy

April to June is the sweet spot: warm days, manageable crowds and landscapes at their greenest. May is particularly good for the Lakes region.

September and October offer the grape and olive harvests across Tuscany, with excellent light and thinner crowds than summer.

July and August are hot and busy. Our itineraries are structured to avoid the worst of the midday heat.

November to February is quieter and less expensive, though some coastal routes feel subdued.

Popular Destinations Within Italy

Rome - the Colosseum, the Vatican, the Pantheon. Our itineraries give you proper time in the city.

Tuscany and Florence - art, architecture, wine and food. Florence is a centrepiece of many of our Italian journeys.

The Italian Lakes - Lake Como, Lake Garda, Lake Maggiore. Understated and consistently popular with returning visitors.

The Amalfi Coast and Sorrento - cliffs, colour and exceptional seafood. Pairs well with a visit to Pompeii.

Venice - essential and unrepeatable. We include time for independent exploration beyond the main thoroughfares.
