Currency
In most of Western Europe, the currency you will require will be Euros. However, you will need Swiss Francs (CHF) when travelling in Switzerland. It is possible to make purchases in Euros at selected establishments in Switzerland, but please note that change will typically be given in CHF.
We advise passengers to exchange any spending money before they travel. Whilst on tour, exchanging currency can be very inconvenient, and not all places we visit will have ATMs or accept credit/debit cards.
We also recommend passengers keep some change in coins on hand, as using toilets in many parts of Europe is not free.
Please note that USD, GBP, or travellers cheques are not widely accepted at locations on this tour.
Distances
An important point to note whilst on a touring holiday is that some long journeys are unavoidable, especially when travelling from city to city.
It is advisable that passengers carry necessities that they may need for the day such as water, dry snacks, cameras, etc., in their hand luggage.
It should be noted that the travel times are extensive on this tour.

Major Attractions
Disneyland Paris
If you select the Disneyland® Paris tour, enjoy a magical experience for all ages. Depending on your ticket and tour option, your visit may include Disneyland Park or Disney Adventure World. Check the parade and nighttime spectacular schedules in advance, and use the official Disneyland Paris app for the latest attraction wait times, show schedules and park maps.
Amsterdam Canal Cruise
The Amsterdam Canal Cruise provides a relaxing view of the citys charming architecture and famous canals. Cruises last around 60 minutes, passing landmarks like the Anne Frank House and Skinny Bridge. Depending on the day, the cruise takes a different path through the city, depending on the amount of traffic on the canals and the size of the boat
Eiffel Tower
The Eiffel Tower is one of the world's most iconic landmarks, offering spectacular views across Paris and an unforgettable sightseeing experience.
Entrance to the Eiffel Tower will be arranged as part of your visit. Please note that the type of access, the floor or level reached, and the timing of entry are subject to availability and operational arrangements at the time of entrance. Access to a specific floor, cannot be guaranteed.
Fragonard Perfumery
At the Fragonard Perfumery, visitors can learn about the art of perfume making. The guided tour includes a visit to the laboratory and a chance to purchase exclusive fragrances. Take advantage of the opportunity to discover how perfumes are crafted using traditional methods.
Interlaken
Nestled between two lakes and surrounded by the Swiss Alps, Interlaken is a hub for outdoor activities like hiking and paragliding. While on tour, explore the picturesque town, and dont miss the views of the surrounding Jungfrau Region.
Lake Titisee
Located in the Black Forest of Germany, Lake Titisee is a scenic spot and offers a chance to explore the charming lakeside town. Known for its crystal-clear waters, the lake is a popular spot for relaxing walks and purchasing local crafts such as cuckoo clocks.
Louvre Museum
The Louvre, the worlds largest art museum, houses over 38,000 works. Entrance tickets are not included in the tour, and advance booking is recommended. Focus on highlights such as the Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, and Winged Victory of Samothrace. Use the Louvre website to plan your visit, as time may be limited.
Mt. Jungfrau
Mt. Jungfrau, known as the Top of Europe, offers a breathtaking experience with the Jungfrau Railway, taking you to an altitude of 3,454 meters. At the summit, visitors can explore the Ice Palace and Aletsch Glacier. Given the high altitude, temperatures can drop to freezing even in summer, so warm clothing is essential.
Mt. Titlis
A visit to Mt. Titlis offers a thrilling cable car ride to the summit, where youll experience the Glacier Cave and Titlis Cliff Walk, Europes highest suspension bridge. Prepare for cold temperatures, even in summer, and wear sturdy footwear for exploring snowy areas.
Rhine Falls
As Europes largest waterfall, Rhine Falls provides awe-inspiring views. You can take a boat ride close to the falls or enjoy the view from various platforms. The pathways near the falls can be slippery, so non-slip footwear is recommended. Explore surrounding trails and viewing points for a complete experience.
River Rhine Cruise
This scenic cruise along the River Rhine offers spectacular views of castles, vineyards, and quaint villages. Lasting 1 hour, the cruise provides comfortable seating, both indoor and on deck, and is ideal for photography enthusiasts. Be prepared for cooler temperatures on the water.
River Seine Boat Cruise
A Seine River cruise offers a leisurely way to take in Pariss top sights, including the Eiffel Tower, Notre-Dame Cathedral, and Musée dOrsay. Cruises typically last around 1 hour.
Versailles Gardens
The visit to the Gardens of Versailles will be limited to the garden areas, and entry to the Château itself may not be possible due to time constraints and visitor numbers. The gardens are vast, so plan your time to see iconic sites like the Grand Canal and the Fountain of Latona.
Hotels
Please note that not all hotels on this tour will have air conditioning or kettles. If you require warm milk for a baby, we recommend bringing your bottle warmer and milk supply. Passengers may also want to carry a small travel iron and hairdryer, as these amenities may not be available in all hotel rooms.
In some European hotels, double occupancy rooms may consist of two single beds pushed together. We work with such hotels, so please be prepared for this arrangement.
If you use additional services such as the phone, minibar, or pay-per-view TV in your room, these costs are not included in the tour package and must be settled directly with the hotel upon checkout.
The maximum occupancy per room on this tour is three people. However, from March to May, some hotels may only accommodate a maximum of two people per room.
Meals
Passengers can choose from various meal options, including vegetarian, Jain, or non-vegetarian. Please note that Jain and Halal meals may not always be available. We ask that passengers inform the tour manager of their preferred diet on the first day of the tour. Meals are served as pre-set buffets, and menu choices are not available. Only tap water will be provided with meals. On some days, a pre-set continental meal may be served.
Breakfast will be provided at the hotels, usually in a designated dining area, and typically consists of a continental selection including tea, coffee, bread, cereals, fruit, and yoghurt.
Lunches are generally vegetarian, though there may be occasions when a non-vegetarian dish is offered. Dinners are typically served in a separate dining area within the hotel or at a restaurant. If you have any concerns about the ingredients in a dish, please consult your tour manager.
If you require specific allergen information, please get in touch with us in advance so we can assist you accordingly.
Eurostar
Standard class tickets are included as part of your package. Please note seat selection on group booking is not possible. You are required to check-in with the group and individual check-in may not be possible. You are requried to check-in with the Tour Rep at London St Pancreas International 100 minutes before departure.
Amentities on board the Eurostar may vary, and Star Tours are not responsible for these services.
Your Standard class tickets include your baggage allowance, and no meals are included in the ticket price.
Children and Infants aged between 0 - 4 Years will not be provided a seat on the Eurostar train and will be required to sit with parents/guardian.
For security check and on board facility advice please see Eurostar's website by clicking here
Traveling with Eurostar
For a seamless and enjoyable experience, we kindly recommend that you arrive punctually at the station. Once you breeze through our checks, you can unwind in the departure lounge until it's time for your train to be announced. To ensure you have ample time for all pre-departure procedures, please adhere to the recommended arrival time rather than rushing just before the gates close. Rest assured, all border and luggage checks take place before you embark, allowing you the freedom to disembark at your destination with ease.
Navigating Ticket Gates
Upon reaching the ticket gates, a simple scan of the barcode on your paper ticket, provided by your tour manager, is all that's required. Remember to scan each ticket individually to secure your seat and avoid any unexpected changes. If a new ticket is issued upon scanning, it signifies a seat alteration; keep it safe, as it will guide you to your new spot when you board.
Security Precautions
Following ticket gates, a thorough security check is conducted, both for your personal belongings and luggage.
