Why Choose an Escorted Holiday to France?

France is the most visited country in the world, and for good reason. The breadth of what it offers - from the grandeur of Paris to the vineyards of Bordeaux, the beaches of Normandy to the lavender fields of Provence - makes it one of those destinations you can return to repeatedly and always find something new.

Coach travel suits France particularly well. The distances between major regions are manageable, the roads are excellent, and the journey itself often passes through landscapes worth stopping for. Our groups include a significant number of travellers from the British-Indian community, and our France itineraries are designed to be comfortable and inclusive for everyone on board.

Indian-Friendly Features on Our France Tours

  • Indian meals included on most multi-day France departures
  • Vegetarian options confirmed in advance for all included meals
  • Pick-up points across Leicester, Coventry, Birmingham, Luton and London - areas with large Indian communities
  • Halal options available on request on selected departures
  • No beef in included meals as standard

Best Time to Visit France

May and June are ideal across most of France - comfortable temperatures, good weather and the countryside at its most vivid.

September is excellent for those interested in food and wine, with the harvest season underway and crowds thinned.

April works well for Paris - fewer queues and cherry blossom in the Tuileries.

November to December brings Christmas markets to Alsace, with Strasbourg among the finest in Europe.

Popular Destinations Within France

Paris - the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Montmartre, the Seine at evening. Our Paris itineraries give you proper time in the city.

Normandy - the D-Day landing beaches and the American Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer. The regional food - cream, cheese, cider - is also exceptional.

Bordeaux and the Dordogne - wine country, medieval bastide towns and river valleys.

Provence and the Cรดte d'Azur - lavender, olive groves, Roman ruins and the Mediterranean.

Alsace - a region with a character entirely its own, sitting between France and Germany. The wine route is exceptional and the Christmas markets are outstanding.
